Free alphabet and phonics games
Learning letters is one of the first big adventures of childhood, and it goes best through play. These games take your child from recognising letters to hearing the sounds they make, the first steps on the way to reading.
Alphabet Jump turns all 26 letters into a gentle platform game; A–Z Adventure matches capital and small letters and introduces each letter’s sound; Letter Grove asks which letter a word begins with. Mithi says the letters, words and questions aloud, so children who can’t read yet can play on their own.

Questions grown-ups ask
What age should children start learning the alphabet?
Many children start noticing letters around age 2 and learn most letter names and sounds between 3 and 5. These games are made for that whole stretch, starting simple and building up.
Do these games teach phonics?
Yes. A–Z Adventure teaches the sound each letter makes, and Letter Grove practises hearing the beginning sound of a word, both key early phonics skills.
Are the alphabet games free?
Yes. Every game on Meet Mithi is free, with no adverts, no sign-up and nothing to download.
